Web Site Content Management

Have you ever visited a web site where the content was clearly outdated, where it looked as though it hadn't been touched in several months or years? What was your impression of the business or organization? What message do you want to relay to those who visit your site?

In order for a web site to draw repeat visitors and pass on a positive image of the business or organization it represents, its content needs to be kept current, and new content published to the site on a regular basis. There needs to be a reason for people to keep coming back to it.

The way to accomplish this is by incorporating a web publishing content plan into your web site project. With this in mind, we have two web site content management options for you to consider.

Web Site Content Management System

The first option is to integrate a web site content management system into your web site project. We currently have a couple of different content management systems to offer our customers. These systems would give you, the customer, the ability to easily update text and photos on your web site, and perhaps even add or delete pages on your site. You would be able to publish web content anytime and anywhere that you have access to the Internet (using a browser – no costly software required). You would not need to have any knowledge of HTML – the interface would simply be like a word processing program. If this option is selected, you will be trained on how to make updates to your site and be provided with written (or online) reference material as well.

Ongoing Web Site Content Management Support

The second option is to come to us when you have updates to be made on your web site. As tasks are provided to us, we will fit them into our work schedule and provide you with an estimated date of completion for publishing your web content. Work will be performed and billed on an hourly basis (quarter-hour increments).
